A report in this paper has shed light on a new initiative which will attempt to Bring 35,000 non -practicing women doctors back into the field through the Innovative use of technology.
Supporting Material:

Launched by the DOW university of Health sciences last year, the e –Doctor programmer has so far recruited 700 women medics in its training sessions. Many of these women left or were made to leave their careers many years ago, and now have expertise and knowledge of the medical field and enable them to practice once more. The problem of women doctors not continuing to work after graduation, marriage or motherhood has been a long standing issue in our society and written about countless times before. But there are also many men who leave the country to practice their profession in other lands. Unfortunately, and partly due to the brain drain and large number of non -practicing doctors, Pakistan has one of the world’s lowest doctor to patient ratios. It takes many years to create a doctor, and the amount of time and money that go into producing the nation’s health care Providers are seen as a waste of resources if the medics are not in position to tend tothe sick.

Hello John as you want to know about my beloved country Pakistan .How the culture of Pakistan is different from other countries. Today i am going to tell you all about it. Pakistan has a rich and unique culture that has preserved established traditions throughout history. Many cultural practices, foods, monuments, and shrines were inherited from the rule of Muslim Mughal and Afghan emperors. The national dress of shalwar qamiz is originally of Central Asian origin derived from Turko-Iranian nomadic invaders and is today worn in all parts of Pakistan. Women wear brightly colored shalwar qamiz, while men often wear solid-colored ones. In cities western dress is also popular among the youth and the business sector. Pakistani society is largely multilingual and 96% Muslim, with high regard for traditional family values, although urban families have grown into a nuclear family system due to the socio-economic constraints imposed by the traditional joint family system. Recent decades have seen the emergence of a middle class in cities like Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, and Peshawar that wish to move in a more liberal direction, as opposed to the northwestern regions bordering Afghanistan that remain highly conservative and dominated by centuries-old regional tribal customs. Increasing globalization has increased the influence of “Western culture” with Pakistan ranking 46th on the A.T. Kearney/FP Globalization Index. There are an approximated four million people of Pakistani descent living abroad, with close to a half-million expatriates living in the United States, around a million living in Saudi Arabia and nearly one million in the United Kingdom, all providing burgeoning cultural connections.

Thanks to its historical, geographical and ethnic diversity, Pakistan’s culture is a melting pot of Indian, Persian, Afghan, Central Asian, South Asian and Western Asian influences. There are over 15 major ethnic groups in Pakistan, which differ in physical features, historical bloodlines, customs, dress, food and music. Some of these include Punjabis, Sindhis, Baloch, Pashtuns, Kashmiris, Hazaras, Makranis and Baltis, coming from regions as close to home as the Indus Valley or as far as Africa or Tibet. Other than ancient ethnic elements, the religious influence of Islam has also strongly shaped Pakistani culture since it first came to the region in AD 700.

Guests, tourists and visitors, whether domestic or international, are always welcomed with open arms. Even the poorest laborers go out of their way to help new visitors. Cultural and religious beliefs encourage Pakistanis to show love and respect towards guests. In Islam especially, a guest is a blessing from God, and it is taught that they must be given the best treatment possible.

It is common knowledge that the Pakistani nation has suffered from the country’s economic situation with rampant poverty and high illiteracy. Terrorist attacks and misgovernment have also led to terrible consequences. Regardless of these sufferings, Pakistan’s spirit lives on and the nation continues to hope and work for a better future. The people of Pakistan would soar high if they got the sincere political effort and leadership they deserve.

Pakistanis are a passionate, emotional, expressive and colorful people – just like their culture. Whatever they love, they do with plenty of zest and excitement. They love to celebrate, no matter the occasion, and feasting, giving presents, throwing parties and having regular large gatherings with friends and family are all very common.
